Nice pics. Dont look very safe to me though.
They are not in the ground that securely. If a buck was to get his antler trapped and they were not ready, he should be able to extract himself. If he cant and applies a little pressure, he would pull the entire thing out of the ground. But it's never happened and I have used these for 2 years now. I will occasionally find one bent, but that's about it.

It would be neat to watch a video clip of them using it. You should put your camera on video mode and see how there antlers get caught.

What doesn't look safe about it?
Its just a few "V"'s with feed in between them.
If they get a tine in them they just back up and they're free.
If the tine is loose it falls or falls close to the trap.
They work very well in my opinion.

Im nota fan. I dont care how safe it sounds, its something that could possibly harm a deer. Plus some of my bucks are so big and gnarly that it would get stuck in their antlers. Ill stick to walking to find sheds.

That's just my opinion though, and more power to ya if you feel its right for your area. You have some beautiful bucks roaming around, good luck on finding all their sheds.
