Trail Camera?
 

Hi all, I am interested in buying a trail camera. I have never owned one before and can spend $250-300 on one. Like the idea of IR.Looking at a Moultree? Any input would be appreciated.

You can go to www.chasingame.com to check out the reviews on that cam or any other that may interest you. This helps with the decision making:) My personal choice would be the Scout Guard SG550. Price range is 199 - 209.95 very small and packed with features. Another one to look for is the new SG550V coming out this monday or tuesday. Very limited supply on this first ever batch! We are getting some :)It comes with a built in picture viewer on the remote! The price stays low at 229.95

I like my moultrie 4.0. Great battery life, even in subzero temps. The only thing that bugs me is the slow trigger speed. It is a great camera for placing on a bait pile but on trails you get a lot of rear end shots unless you face the camera down the trail. The picture quality as you can see by looking at the pictures from those that use moultrie are very good more times than not.
