I have a wildview that takes 4 c batteries and as long as it is above 50 degrees it will last about a month, but if its cold i wont even put it out. i might as well sit there with a digital camera and take my own photos. It sucks at night time pics also unless they are within 5 feet.

You need to get you a SG550!!!I had mine out in video mode for 90 days before I had to change the batteries.

You can also get a rechargeable pack for ~$45. It won't last much longer than a month, but after a few uses, you'll get your moneys worth.
