Is Stealth really slow?

Here is a pic of a doe that jumped out in front of my Stealth Cam.. Do you think it is slow? Also a pic of the same doe starting a small scrape and rubbing her face up on a limb that hung over it..

I'd start by moving your cam to face north/south instead of east/west.
The sun is blasting into it with makes for bad pics and false triggers.

I agree with you 100% on facing it away from the sun.. In this area here I was trying to get some pics of an old scrape from last year that the deer were using. I couldn't find another tree big enough to put it unless I was right on top of it. I have moved it to a trail and I am hoping to get some nice pics from that. I did have to point it south though soI am not sure how they will be. The area is really thick so perhaps the sun will not bother it to bad. For as far as false triggering I have not had that happen just yet.
The reason I posted this was because I have heard alot about Stealth Cams being real slow on the triggering aspect.. I have not had to much of a problem with mine though..

the 35mm stealths are not the fastest, but with good strong batteries i don't have any blank pictures.. for the digital i have a few of the i390's. .. again, not the fastest trigger speed of all the cams available, but sure does put out nice pictures if placed correctly...

I dont have any problems with mine (I550) except whiteouts. My old Stealth (I450), had problems kinda like yours but only in day time pics. It took amazing night photos.
