Default couple pictures from my brand new scoutguard

i really like my new scoutguard. i wish the ir flash covered more area though. fortunately, it's got a quick trigger time and most pictures are pretty well centered. here's some pics from the first week in the woods.

bear?

from one of my i-60's. i wish his rack matched his body.

Nice pics. That looks like a pretty good sized bear. I was thinking about trying a scoutguard, but it just doesn't look like the picture quality is caught up with the moultrie yet. I heard talk of scoutguard installing more LED's. Do you know if they have done that on the model you have?

I got it from skin_dog1’s website here on the board. The camera actually compares very well against the Moultrie. The Moultrie has better night time flash BUT (AND THIS IS A HUGE BUT ), the scoutguard has better trigger time and so far has centered the deer better in the night pictures. So, I actually get better nighttime pics with the scoutguard.

Overall, I have to admit, I like the scoutguard quite a bit better then the Moultrie. I have 3 moultries (2 i-60’s and an i-40). They are also so much smaller (size of a coffee cup) and are just as cheap to run as the moultries (if not cheaper). Moultries do take better videos though. I just love the fact that I can take this little camera in my coat pocket and move it around so easily. Great camera!
