the moultrie m60 is a great cam for feeders. I left mine out for a month and it took 950 pictures and still had 20% battery.

under 250, have to go with the scoutguard. I have several different brands but i wish i could trade them all in for more scoutguards. Very good and also convenient.

I have an I-40 and a SG 550 and I would take the SG550 over the I-40. I'm sending in my I-40 for repair under warranty this week and would like for it to be out on the property taking pictures or videos like my SG550 will be. I am very impressed with the trigger time of the SG550 and am actually thinking about buying another.

After trying the I-40 out on the trail I think it is going to be relegated back to feeder duty. It is so big and bulky and hard to setup compared to the SG550. Also the SG550 did a lot better job picking up animals and I was worried about getting to many videos and filling up the card so I had it set on medium sensitivity on the motion detector.

Only 20% after just a month and only 950 pictures? The scoutguards are taking 4000+ pictures on a set of batteries. My oldest scoutguard has been out since mid june and still has the original batteries and over 50% battery life!
