moultrie 4.0
 

i've had a moultrie 4.0 trail camera for about a year, and i got to put it out last week, and when i turn it on, when i turn the switch it wont do anything, and when it counts down, it will stop at 57? i thought it was bad batteries, but it's not. could anybody help me?

Are you referring to the power on self test?
My Moultrie M60 just counts down from 5.

Are you able to get into the menu and set defaults?

yeah, like after i set everything, it starts counting..59..58..57.. and it will stop at 57 for about 2 seconds, and shut off.

and i can turn it to setup or to auto or something, and sometimes it will freeze up and wont work, and then shut off.

Do you have an SD card in it while it does this?
If so try removing it and then turn it on.
I would imagine that it's doing self test on that countdown so may Moultrie would be more help.
