I-6.0 v I-4.0
Hello,I have 2 moultrie I 6.0 cameras.I have had good luck with these.I am looking into buying two more but the I 40 is cheaper is it worth the extra money for the 60 over 40? I have not seen the pic difference?

I have the I40 myself and I think it's a great camera for the price, not to familiar with the I60 though , sorry.

I haven't had a bit of problems with my I40 either. I got it for christmas last year and had it out all winter. I haven't tried an I60 yet.

RE: I-6.0 v I-4.0
I have 2 i-60's and an i-40. my next cam is definitely an i-40 unless i find a good deal on a 60 in the cabelas bargain cave.
really the only difference that is noticeable to me is the viewing screen which I only use occasionally and is so small that it really isn't valuable. the remote is a joke. I threw my second remote away when I took it out of the box. I can't tell the difference in picture quality between the two. oh, i've never once even looked at the barometric pressure on the picture. |

hunter 125,
Save the seventy bucks or so and go with the I-40. Most computers won't handle more than 3-4 megapixels anyway, so anything over that, you are not going to be able to tell the difference in picture quality. Although I will say that Sportsmans Guide had the I-60 on sale for $219.00, same price as I-40,in their first catalog this year. Hope this helps. Blessings.....Pastorjim |

Another vote for the I40 here.
The first one had to go back, Moultrie replaced it, liked it so much I bought a 2nd one. |
RE: I-6.0 v I-4.0
I bought the I50 outfitter from cabelas and it is great for $220, fast trogger and awesome Ir and daylight pics and it is right down the middle of the I40-60, either way I don't think uyou cna go wrong but based on the pics I get on my older 40 and my new 50 I wouldn't spend the extra cake on the 60 model, use the cash to get the mounting bracket, it is a must for trail cam's once you use one you will never want to have a cam without one, that's the only downside tyo Moultrie is the mounting and security system or lack there off.
