RE: When do you guys pull your cameras?
I put mine out in May and take them up in January.I see no reason to stop using them, but I do check them less often in hunting season.

RE: When do you guys pull your cameras?
This is the first year I have had a trail camera out, but I plan on leaving it up until atleast January or late January. I wont take the card out every time I hit the timber but it is on the way to one of my favorite stands soooo. I want to see what Im not seeing when im in the stand. I have had mine out for a total of about a month now and my battery is still at 80% so it should go a long time.

RE: When do you guys pull your cameras?
I keep mine out all year. Check them about every 7 or 8 days before Labor day. Then once season opens, I move them to places that are easy to get in and out.....so as not to contaminate bedding areas. I'll check them during season every 4 to 5 days.

RE: When do you guys pull your cameras?
I leave mine out year round, but I move themaround also. Depending on the time of year, and the deer movements. During the summer and up to bow seaseon, I don't mess with them but about once a month, during the season I check them much more often.
One important thing I doinhunting seasonis that I never put my camerasvery close to my stands. I try to keep them about 100 yards or so away from where I plan to hunt. That way I don't leave too much human scent where I hunt. Trae |
