Sleep Mode?

Does anyone have any cameras that have sllep mode to conserve battery life? I have a Moultrie d-40 (i think thats the $99 one) and I seem to get quite a few pics of rear ends. I have it angled right into the corner of a corn field so it has plenty of time to catch these pics. But it seems like something has to be close to wake the camera up. Anyone else have troubles with this or is there a way to shut the sleep mode off?

theres no way to turn it off i think.

I have the sameone and I get tons of pictures that have nothing on it because deer run by before it awakes then it snaps nothing.

Sometimes birds fly by it and it triggers it.

But its well worth it for only $99.

Unfortunately sleep mode cant be disabled from what I understand, thus triggertime is the helping factor. What is the trigger speed on the d-40?
