Feed infront of camera ???
I just stopped by the farm store to pick up some whole corn to put infront of my camera when I set it tonight. I was think 6... maybe 7 bucks a bag, NOT 14!!I was curious as to what you guys use to get them to pose infront of the camera. Also don't want every coon in the county using up my grub and camera space. Thanks

RE: Feed infront of camera ???
Spring and summer are great times to set up a camera in front of a mineral station!
I usually wait until September to put my camera in front of a feeder.
Corn is the best draw for deer
Good luck and post some pictures

for the money, i really don't think you can beat salt. corn will give a lot of pictures, especially over the winter but it's obviously very expensive. during the summer, i get more pictures of deer over salt then I do over corn anyway. the deer ignore my corn from june - august (I wish i knew why, other people get pics over corn).
anyway a 50# salt block can last a year and will bring in deer even after the salt block is gone. all for $4. trophy rock is very expensive too and when i put it side by side with salt, the salt wins hands down. i put a salt block in view of every trail camera.
if you haven't tried salt yet, give it a whirl.
