What do you all think of this trail cam?

I just bought one from cabelas last night on our trip home from minnesota. I was limited on what I could buy because I only had around 100 dollars. This cost 99.00 and the others cost around 150-400 and I had to think fast because my dad was wanting to leave before it got to late. (we stil had about a 4 or 5 hour drive left)

the date and time on mine was way out of whack last season... would loose days and hours... but this year it has only lost maybe 15 minutes over a span of a month

I think those are the ones that Wal mart sells. If they are then today I seen them on sale for $70. I bought 1 from there when it was $100 though. Its a good camera and I'm considering getting another for that price.

I just set it out today.

Hoping to get one on there soon so I can check the image quality.

I set the image quality to high so it better be a good one. :D

I've heard whacky things about the D series Moutlrie...but I know it gets the job DONE for the money...I have an I40...yeah its nice.... but I have an old old stealth cam that does the trick too.....I say go for it....

I'm thinking about getting 2 more cams and the D40 would be good to add to the collection.

Theres one thing I dont totally trust on the D40 is the sleeping mode.
It takesa couple of second to wake up to take a picture, and the deer could be gone in a couple of seconds.

I have 3 of them now. I had one that when it went into "stand-by" mode it would not wake back up. Other than that, they work good and take pretty good pictures. If Wal-Mart has any left my brothers wife is getting me another one today.
