Default Antler Growth Sequence + Others

It is really amazing how quickly they can put on a set of antlers!

May 29th:

June 17th:

June 30th:

July 6th:

It looks like he is still carrying some mass out on the end and hopefully will put on some more antler over the next several weeks.

A few of the younger bucks are almost as big as he is right now in tine length but he dropped his later and they got a bit of a head start on him.

Here's a couple of the younger bucks. I think they are both 2 1/2 based on tracking them over the last year.

My "double wide" looks like he is way behind and he may be starting to decline this year but it is still hard to tell.

No antlers here but I thought this was a really nice picture. I saw this doe at 98.5 yards on the rangefinder last night with her twin fawns!

Yeah, it's a 21% protein diet that I get from the local feed mill. If I buy it in bulk I can get it for just a dollar or so more than corn per bag (1,000lbs minimum for the discount).

They hit it REALLY hard in January and February and then hit the spring green up and are just now coming back to the protein pellets.
