Moultrie Power Question????????
 

Has anyone used a 12V Lead Acid Battery on any 2007 or earlier Moultriecameras IR or flash? I did call Moultrie and asked if a 12V battery would work and they said there camerasoperate on a9V system. I know they sell the solar battery pack but I have 4 new12V Lead Acid Batteriers and don't want to buy the solar pack and don't want to burn my cameras up ether. Can anyone confirm the 9V system?

I have 1 moultrie that runs on 6 D batteries and 2 Moultries that run on the 6 volt batteries. I have never used the solar charger but I thought of getting a 6 volt motorcycle battery to keep recharging. I haven't heard of the 9 volt cams.

The ones I have use 6D 1.5V batteries also but the lady from Moultrie said the solar 12V battery pack converts the 12V to 9V. I bought a converter, just would like to know if anyone has more info.
