RE: Scout Guard SG 550. Next Best Camera?
will normal to low sensitivity increase battery life significantly (compared to high sensitivity)?

Bee Busy,
Sent you a email, might want to buy a Cam. |
RE: Scout Guard SG 550. Next Best Camera?
Hey Sparkkky,
Got it and sent one back. Thanks! Hey Rackluster, Changing the sensitivity will not change the battery life. The only change would be less pics taken on low that would have picked up on high. Very minimal though......... Joe BBO |
RE: Scout Guard SG 550. Next Best Camera?
that's what I thought about the battery life.
I have my scoutguard over a scrape that is ON FIRE! I love that little camera!!! |
RE: Scout Guard SG 550. Next Best Camera?
can u view the pics right in the field without any extra equipment?? thanks

RE: Scout Guard SG 550. Next Best Camera?
the camera doesn't have a built in viewer. this camera is absolutely tiny, there's no room for a viewer.
|
RE: Scout Guard SG 550. Next Best Camera?
No need to carry a viewer to see pics or videos

RE: Scout Guard SG 550. Next Best Camera?
I use the moultrie game viewer to view pics in the field. Small and works with the SG550.......

RE: Scout Guard SG 550. Next Best Camera?
Well I got a couple of pics, they were less than brilliant as I had the camera set too low and only got mid-body and lower shots, and the deer didn't eat the corn. What it looks like is a doe followed by a buck (much larger body and thick neck but couldnt' see the top of the head) about 45 seconds apart. I also got plenty of shots of cars driving down the street beside our house as I forgot to set it on Low. Good practice anyway and I'm heading to the woods in the a.m. to hunt and set it up.
