Try the Moultrie Game Spy D-40. I have one and it works great!

Hey 8pt, what are you using for batteries? I just got one, and after 7 days and 200 pics, my batteries were down to 55%. I thought that they were supose to last for up to 60 days. It was between 5 degrees, and 20 degrees out durring the week. I know that the cold will make a difference, but I didnt think it would be that much.

I'm using "Rayovac's alkaline batteries".It lasted about 50 days in cold weather. (10 degrees)

I think it may last even longer inwarmer weather.

1. Cold will have an effect on battery life.

2. If you have the cam on high resolution, expect to drain more power from the batteries.

3.Rayovac, have been rated the best batteries for trailcam useage,
They out last the others.

i put duracells in my moultrie two years ago, got 30,000 pictures and it still has 60% of it's battery life left. moultries rule.
