What is the lowest temp a trail camera will work at?
 
i have a bushnell sentry and i was wondering what the coldest temperature that the camera would still function at? lastnight it got down to -11:( good thing i didnt have it out then.i no the colder it is the more it eats up batteries.....thanks for any input...

Last night it went down to 2 here and i had two wildview extreme 3's out and checked them today... one is still working perfect and the other one won't trigger..... not sure why.... left one out and pulled the other to see if it just needs warmed up....

The batteries are what determines that depends on the batteries.

It's not necessarily the batteries, my cudde will workat minus 20 just fine, but they just eat batteries quickly at anything below 25 above, my moultrie I40's dont work much at all below -5 or so, but will last 20 times longer and take more pics than my cudde in temps between 0 and 25 above.
