Default Moultree Cameras

Has anyone had any problems with the Flash on the moultree 4.0 and 5.0 cameras? Both of my moultree's quit taking night time pictures last week. Still puts the date and time at the bottom, and still takes great day time pictures. The flash is set to auto. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

My buddy has this problem with his 5.0 Cabelas Edition Moultrie and he called them and they told him that the flash is triggering after the picture was taken. I dont know if they said anything about it being fixed. I have never had this problem with my 4.1 Cabelas edition.

Same problem with my 1 month old D-40. The flash quit working, even with fresh batteries.
I too am waiting for an answer to my e-mail. I think the bulb is dead. Oh, all the setting are o.k.

I'm interested in hearing what they say, any chance it's the "cold", not that it should...

I know it's not the cold because I tried it in the house 2 days after it failed. It took pictures
in a darkened room and the flash still failed.

Has anyone heard back from Moultree on this issue? I have still not recieved an answer to either of my two emails. I guess I will be taking my business to another company.

I have the same problem with my D40. But when I look at my flash it is black around the bulb. I believe mine is burned out.

I'd but a new one then package the bad one up, and send it back to where you got the good one!No sense in haveing a bad camera. If you try and have the company resolve it its hard to tell how long it would take.
