Backyard Bucks
I moved this past sumnmer a little further north in Ontario. Have 2.1 acres whihc is more like 2100 acres as it backs onto public land whihc goes for miles. I hunted the bigger 2 of these deer for the 2 week season in Novemeber. Passed on the big bodied 7 pt and only got an opportunity to shoot the big one in the arse. It's very thick Northern Bush hunting.
Couple weeks before the season I put out feed to see whats there and this guy showed up.
And then this fella (date stamp is wrong. It was thrid week of Oct)
After it was done I re set things up and now enjoy them in my backyard. The big bodied 7 I passed
The other nice one who had his split G2 busted at some point after the first pic of him.
The two together
And a very nice 10 pt cruising through
This land is not accessible except thru the houses on my road or thru miles of wilderness from a trapline ATV trail. In other words it receives little to no hunting pressure (except now from me ).
Next season second week BT and I should be chasing pretty well any of these bucks that are there. They'll all be shooters I think with a couple monsters to boot.
