How to get bear pictures ???
There is are two bears that are located by my camp. people have seen them while hunting but no one has gotten a picture. i was wndering does anybody no of the best way to get bear pictures with a scouting camera. anything like bait or something.

Ive gotten bear pics on everything from just a salt block to a deer carcass. I've also gotten pics over corn and apples as well. I'm not sure where your camp is, but if its really cold you'll probably need somethin really smelly to get em to come in. Deer carcasses and gut piles are great, cuz you have the chance of coyote and wolf pics as well. One idea might be some sort of deer attractant like stump licker or buck jam, these scents should get the bears in the area to come sniffin around. i think the stump licker is molasses flavored, and the buck jam comes in apple, corn, and acorn. Peanut butter might also be a good option. Depending on where you are the bears might be startin to den up, for example its been gettin pretty cold here in wisconsin, and we've started to get some snow, so i wouldnt besurprised if they're startin to den up.
