Looks like the same deer to me. Looks like he turned nocturnal on you. Is this a PA deer, I used to hunt Crawford County a few years ago. Some nice deer over in that neck of the woods.

I took a trip up PA Turnpike early this fall, and the sholder was filled with nice big bucks... Roadkill :(
