trail cameras

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and was wondering if you guys could help me out. Recently, I've been browsing for trail cameras but I cannot pin down which one to get. I also searched theforum but I couldn't find tooo much. Right now I'm leaning toward a cuddeback no-flash. However, i've heard mixed reactions, (trigger speed is good vs.fuzzy pics of moving deer, etc.) Any thoughts on this or other trail cameras?...under $400 or so that is...If there are already numerous threads on this subject I apologize, and just link me to one. Thanks

RE: trail cameras

I just bought this one (moultrie 4.0) at bass pro shops for 79.99. It's okay and takes fair pictures, but nothing as good as I've seen out of some of the cuddybacks. Trigger speed is a little slow and I don't know it would catch a deer moving through. It'll get them if they are just sort of hanging out, but not much else.
My next one will be a cuddyback.

i preffer taping a digital camera to a tree and running a fishing line trip wire. 100% reliable. Never gotten a deer on it though :D:)
