i have 3 moultrie cameras two that take the 6volt spring top batteries. my question is can i use like a 6 volt tractor battery or motorcycle battery, i think i keep ruining the spring top 6 volt bateries because they drain all the way dead when there in my cameras.when i go to charge them they dont hold as good a charge and go dead in a couple days.my place is 3 hours away so i might only get up there once every couple months.

I am not sure about the bigger 6 volt batteries, but I can tell you that the solar panels extend the battery life out to a month or more for me.

check to see what amp. output those other batteries have. I think you can't exceed 5oms. with the Moultrie. Best bet would be to contact Moultrie direct with your question.
