$100 huh? That is a tough price range because most are not good on batteries at that price.

If you have a salt block, feeder, or food plot then I would go with the wildview 3.0. If you are going to put this on a trail then (reluctantly) I'd have to recommend the moultrie d40.

However, you might want to look at upping your price range a bit and picking up a stealth i450 with a 12volt battery pack. Or a moultrie m40 (stay away from the moultrie i40 or i60, trust me!).

Do NOT buy a D40. I've had four of them. 100% failure rate. And customer service is impossible to communicate with.

Spend the extra money and buy from somebody you can talk to. My next trail came is gonna' be a CamTrakker. No question about it. They're spendy but they gotta' be more reliable than a dedicated trail cam. http://www.camtrakker.com/sony_digital_Ranger.asp

Why stay away from the i40 and 60 I own a i40 and just love it have not had a probably with it yet 2300 pictures, only 3 white outs, no upgrade needed to be installed, and still have 75 percent on original batteries have been in use 53 days in sub freezing temperature's at some point each and everyone of those days. Are they perfect hell no but is there one that is for the price i think they are a excelletn camera.

Academy has a sale starting at 7am on Friday ... day after Thanksgiving ... and have a Bushnell Trail Sentry digital game camera on sale for only $35. It has a date and time stamp.

night pictures are almost all blurry. that's why i would stay away from them. what's the point of getting a trail camera if the night pics are bad.

otherwise it's a good camera. great on batteries and will hold a 4gb card. a camera that you could leave out almost all winter! daytime pics are really good. can't complain there!
