Python cable lock
I was coming up with a security mount for my trail cams. Thought about using python cable locks, so I picked some up. Anyways, I try akey out in both locks and it unlocked both. I hope all of these locks are notkeyed the same. Because thenwe got problems.

RE: Python cable lock
I don't know about mulitple locks that are keyed the same, but I do know that I am using a python lock for my Moutire trail cam and I love it. Very easy to use and very rugged / durable. I feel much more confident that the cam will be there when I go back into the woods to retrieve it!

RE: Python cable lock
How similar are the cuts on the keys?

RE: Python cable lock
Well that would suck. I was gonna buy one but I dont really want one now.

RE: Python cable lock
Usually you buy them as a set for being Keyed alike.
I have a dozen of them that are keyed alike(I ordered them like that )I hate trying to find the right key for whichever lock |
RE: Python cable lock
I have a few Python Cable Locks and they are all keyed different and I'm sure about this because I usually have to try a couple keys to get them open (you would think I would mark them somehow). Sometimes I wish one key would open them all.

RE: Python cable lock
I have 4 pythons and all use different keys. I use small, colored cable ties to match them up. Simply attach a cable tie to the lock near the head and a matching one to the corresponding key.
