Trail camera security ?
I just bought a Moultrie I40 game camera did the updates and have set the camera settings.
My question is has anyone come up with a way to securely mount this camera to the tree to deter someone from stealing the camera? If so, pictures and or an explanation of how it is mounted would be appreciated. |

Stainless, that is awesome.
What did you do to attach the cable lock to the box? |
RE: Trail camera security ?
I welded two large washers to the bottom. You can't see it in the pictures but I also use two 5" lag bolts to secure it to the tree.

RE: Trail camera security ?
I like the lag bolt idea.
I might try drilling a hole on each of the side panels and run the cable lock thru them. |

RE: Trail camera security ?
Do they have cams that are password or number code protected ? That would be the way to go once its turned off you need a password or number code to use it again.
