Heck yes - I'd still take him.

When I was first bowhunting - NO legal buck was safe - except that I had a lot to learn about bowhunting!

He'd be a buck ANY HUNTER should be happy to take as a first buck.

Let him walk. If you guys would quit shooting these 2.5 yr olds you might kill a real Trophy. There are bound to be other bucks in the area that you could take for your first buck and let this one grow.
