Is this camera any good? Its only $99 from Walmart....Does anybody own one like it??

It's ok for the price. I returned mine fora wildview. battery life is good. pic quality is really bad. flash range is bad. Sensing is bad. Motion pictures (if deer is moving) are terribly blurry.Seems to lose a couple minutes every hour so the pics have times that don't add up w/ thesunlight in the pics.And, there's a sleep mode where after 2 minutes of no motion it takes 'a couple seconds' longer then the advertised time of 1 second to take a picture. Basically, their trigger time claim is a load of bs.

Personally, for the price I would look into the wildview line. They are worse on batteries and the trigger time is not good. Overall, they've been great cameras for me. I have around 5000 pictures this year alone from my wildview. I also have the stealth i450. the i450 is a good camera but a bit buggy. Not as solid as the wildview.

I dont know about the 4.0 but I love my 3.1! I havent had a single problem with it. If i were you I would look into one of the 3.1s. They might/should be cheaper now that the newer cameras have come out. PM me if you want to see some of my pictures.

My D-40 work great , the triger time is about 3 seconds and the pictures are good . Here are some . Daytime and one at night . The month is off by one month .

wildview 5.0 is like 95 bucks on sportsmansguide.com and its a real bargain

there awsome i got the cheaper one yet 2.1 mp and it works real good and good pics to boot then i bought the rechargable battery and solar panel and works for me. yes moultrie

Thats what we have and its been absolutley an awesome camera. I have compared some of my pics to some of the nicer cameras and not much difference in my opinion. If I wanted to spend the $, I probably would, but I think this makes a great camera, day and night. Heres some of my pics frrm the Moultrie 4.0.
