Nice Eight

Was wondering what you thought of this deer? Along with what do you think his age is and your guess on the size of the rack. Thanks

Awesome deer!! Some great tine length!

Looks like he has some little kicker's off his 'main' frame - I would guess he's a 4x6 (with two on the six side being fairly small). Because of the tine length I would be surprised if he wasn't in the 140's...

I noticed the two kickers and am pretty excited about this deer. A friend of mine showed me a way to kinda get close on scoring a deer and I try it with deer I am interested. This one I came up with 139 or so. I realize I can be far from the truth but it is interesting to see how close you will be when you tag him. I look at this deer as being a main frame 8 but there are ten points there. This camera had 560 some odd pictures on it and over 200 of them were of this buck and some other shooter bucks. 80% of these pictures were during day light hours.

Id say your pretty close with that 139. Id say about 140 without deductions. Great deer though. I love those giant main frame 8s. We saw one this year that will go 150 or better we figure. Looks like that one but about 22 in wide and little taller and maybe 2 in of deduction in the whole rack he is so semetrical. WCL

A friend and I ended up spotting a Monster 8 and he tried to stalk it however couldn't close the deal. Later that year a guy tresspassed on the ground this deer was on and killed it during shotgun season. The deer ended up scoring 172" When you saw this deer you knew he was a giant.
