Does anyone here use Trophycam video cameras or something similar?
Want to know how often you have to get yours repaired etc.
I'm also looking for an alternative scouting video camera system if there is one out there that can record 4 hours of tape like these can.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I use the Wildlife Eye and love it. I know that it got a bunch of bad reviews, but I just spent a bunch of time figuring it out and it works fine for my needs. You can set it with the IR motion detector or use it on a timer or do both. I think that it would do the 4 hour taping you want if you set the timer, put in a 120 minute tape and set the record speed to LP. I did have to make a homemade lens filter because when filming during the day there was a bit of whiteout. I just used a dark colored lighting gel and I think it fixed the problem. Here is a link to my photobucket site with a video on it.

Virginia Mike, have you experienced these problems with your wildlife eye like all these bad reviews have said and what did you do and what is you opinoin on the wildlife eye, I have always wanted to kinda try one out but everyones reviews were so bad that i never had. Very little have I heard good actually, do you think it was improper use maybe because you said once a person figures them out.
