Default Wildview .3 flash question

I am set up approx 8-10 feet from my bait pics during day are of pretty good quality. At night even at that close range I've had trouble seeing anything but eyes I got some coon and a couple does last night and could barely make them out and i mean barely,is this normal or do I got problems possibly w/ the cam. I know the flash is going off as i tested it so what else do ya think it could be except i need to get a better camera. I had some better ones stolen soonce bit twice shy if you know what i mean.

Matt this has been covered in many posts but that camera is pretty crappy. I have one and gave up and bought the Wildview Extreme 4 and love it. The flash on the (Point 3).3 camera is only good for about 5 ft.

Same thing with our .3 Wildview. Mostly glowing eyes in the distance. At about 10 feet you could tell its a deer but thats about it. I thought the timing was off or something. My buddy bought ours on a whim, we were not happy with it. We bought a Moultrie D40 for $99 and love it. There is a lot to be said for the time and date stamp.

I have a wildview .3 and the night pics sucked, I went up and bought some foil tape, used on ducts and dryer head vents and put that all around the inside of the flash and on the inside of the door to point all the light staight out. I'm geting good night pics from 12 yards.

Sweet! I have 2 of those pieces of crap in a storage drawer collecting dust. I'll break em out and try the foil tape. Thanks huntedblue!
