All of my pics are black with a perfect tme and date in lower right hand corner. I have a Bushnell Trail Scout with fresh batteries and the flash is working.

Make sure your SD card is formatted, and be sure that the camera was not set on "Video". The Trail Sentry cam that I got will not take "video" clips in the dark as the flash will not work.

I had the same problem w/ my trail sentry, I spoke w/ Bushnell and they said to send it back. I am not to impressed w/ Bushnell, I bought a picture viewer that did not work and had to send it back also.

How do you format an sd card? BTW, they told me to send it back also but I keep thinking it's got to be something simple to correct especially since the flash is working and I'm getting a time and date on every pic.

I had the same problem with a buddies Moultrie 5.1, we figured out that the flash would sometimes not work at night for some reason, other times it owuld work.
