I also had to same problem with my first D40 spy camera, it would become 5 hours off in 7 days in the woods. Not what I had in mind be any means. Sent it back to Moultrie and a week later got a new camera and crossing fingers that this one kepts correct time. Will post results in a week or two.One thing that I thought was weird is my 1st camera had it where you could change the trigger time delays to 1,2,3 minutes and the camera that was just sent from Moultrie has 1min,30min,1hr delays.Does anyone know what the deal is with that??

My d40 loses about 20 minutes a week . I just changed the batterys last week so see how it is this week . By the way it takes great pictures and the trip time give me about 80% of the pictures with a animal in itfrom deer to birds .

I couldn't agree w/ you more. losing time was only the beginning of the problems I had. definitely not worth $100 when there are now other options in that price range. Especially when you consider the $20 rebate on the i450.
