the top buck is an iowa buck and the bottom buck im not 100% sure but i think hes also an iowa buck. they both live in iowa now though. but i do know that the top one "remington" is all iowan. remington is 3 1/2 "fred" the bottom buck is 4 1/2 and we have another buck that is only one. The yearling was not bottle raised and is very spooky, Ill try to post a pic of him to.

this buck is only 1 year old. this month accually. i think he'll look great in a couple years.

sweet stuff man, what do you keep them for, i hear they get quite rowdy around the rut, i always wanted to do what your doing and maybe breed a monster but who knows, is that what you do with them? just curious, nice bucks though

my dad started raising them to sell, but he didnt want them to be sold as "shooters" being that the older deer are tame enough that you can walk into the pen and pet them like a dog. now we just keep them because theyre basically part of the family and they are free scent machines pretty much. (other than food cost) and yes they do get very roudy during the rut. the only way to feed them all is to get in the pen and during breeding season the only person that can feed them without being attacked is my dad, not sure why but they test him and when he doesnt back down they just somewhat relax and let him do chores. most will be sold eventually but we are keeping one buck and 3 does for breeding purpose and to have a source of the freshest deer pee. he plans on starting a company some day but with Mrs. Doe Pee about a half hour away that ideas on the back burner for now.

thats cool i had a baby deer that i raised for 2 years then we got in trouble for having him so i had to take im to a deer farm up the raod from where i lived but that was ok with me cuz we are good friends with the guy i got some pix some where i will have to post them
