Moultire 100 2.1
 

A buddy has one of these cheaper cams but has never put it out. So, he gave it to me to set out on my property and I was wondering if any of you had any experience with this model? Any suggestions on setting it up and what should I expect? How bad is the trigger speed and sensor?

Granted, I certainly don't expect it to compare to the much more expensive Cam Trakker digital units or the Cuddeback Experts I have, but I'm still very curious to see how well it does?

Good camera for the price... with the old moultries don't expect fast trigger speed but the quality of pictures is usuallygood.I would set it up over a feeder, food plot, or where the deer with be in view of sensor for at least5+ seconds to make sure you get a picture.

Recommend getting the solar panel for the battery to last longer. Use the laser to seewhere the pictures are going to be taking pictures it really helps to know exactly where the sensor is going to trigger andhow low or highthe pictures are actually going to be taken.

I have two of them and they both work fine for me. I do have both of them set up over differentmineral licks to get the deer to stop long enough for a picture. I just used $5 mineral blocks from the local feed store.

not a bad camera, some of our pics w/ this one are a little white or too bright. We have tried putting it in the shade and turning off the flash all together, but some picks are just too bright and those picks are worthless.
Other than that, the ones that turn out are ok.
Runs thru batt's pretty quick.
