great trigger range on my Excite
 

I was suprised when my Excite triggered when I was walking out turkey hunting this weekend. I paced it off and it was 66 ft. You can barely see me - just right of centerin the pic(flash just not strong enough), but trigger distance is very good.

your right that is some great trigger range but you'll need to get some kind of software to edit the lighting in your pics to see if theres some deer in the distance

The Cudde's do have great triggers and sensors in my experience.
