First Trailcam Stolen.
[&:] That really sucks. I thought I was far enough out there that I was safe. Losing the $200+ invested in the camera, external battery pack and solar panel was bad, but knowing that someone in the area is willing to trespass and steal is worse.
I'm having to second guess all my plans on what I was going to put out on the property now. I came home with the deer feeder still in the back of my truck because I was afraid it would be for sure the next thing stolen. They didn't take a couple other cameras that were back in the woods a bit, not sure if they just didn't see them or if they were planning on coming back later and getting them. [&:] This really sucks. |
RE: First Trailcam Stolen.
one good thing about middle eastern countries, if you steal...they cut off your hand. we should implicate a law like that over here.

RE: First Trailcam Stolen.
Sorry to hear that. This sort of thing happens WAY too often - unfortunately....

RE: First Trailcam Stolen.
That is really bad news and I am sorry to hear that happen. People like that make me sick.

RE: First Trailcam Stolen.
Sorry about your camera being stolen. People are just plain ignorant( not theword I wanted to use)these days.

RE: First Trailcam Stolen.
I feel your pain...........
I put out my new Cuddeback and headed down to New Orleans for work right after Katrina hit. Came back 3 weeks later all pumped up and excited. Hiked out the mile to where the camera was to find it stolen. They cut the lock, got it off the tree and hiked out. What really gets me is its useless to them due to my personal number programed into it. Havent bought a new camera since but I sure would love too. They need to come up with a GPS tracking chip to stick in them. That way I can go to the persons house that took the thing and pay them a visit............. Don |

That is possibly one of the smartest thing ive ever heard about the trail cameras ,id bet if you had the power to do something like this you would make a lot of money?!...But that being said i seen on here where someone took their homemade camera and gorilla glued treebark all over it, looked like a great idea i will be doing this myself in the future! |
