The Best of 2006

What's your favorite Trail Camera Picture from the 2006 Season? It doesn't have to be the biggest buck... But instead the most beautiful, most unique, or most special to you.

If you can give a little description of why you chose this picture, that'd be great!

Here is my favorite one from this past fall. I like the contrast/colors/shadows. It came out exactly like this.

This is by far the best pic I got in the 2006 season. The sunset was beautiful and the nice buck just added to it. All I did to this pic was use the auto contrast and auto brightness on the software to compensate for the flash.

This is my favorite pic. of the year, but i have only had cameras since november. This a small buck licking salt from a stone under an oldsmokehouse. The smokehouse has not been used in over 15 years.

Actually, these pics are not 2006 pics....they were posted 1-21-2007 by IL-Cornfed. (Looking again, I see the pictures were actually taken in late December then posted in Jan.) And they aren't my pics....his Cudde took them. I was just struck by the colors of the turkeys in both these pictures, the scenery is great with the creek and the vegetation. I just imagined myself sitting in astand overlooking this spot. I tried to analyze whether these were early morning or late afternoon pics....I bet IL-Cornfed knows. Anyway, I printed the one with the two turkeys out and it now hangs on my wall. Thanks IL-Cornfed!

Man, I've had a LOT of positive replies from those pix! As you can tell, I had my AM and PM switched around.... sorry. However, they did turn out great. The full size 3MP images look awesome! The Cuddeback does take great pix! Glad ya like 'em

What I was getting at is looking at the sunlight and the shadows in the pics it looked like early morning or late evening. Looking at the turkeys, which way would be east?

I'm anxious to get my 3.0 Cudde in the field. Next month I hope to get good pics in New Mexico.Have a good 'un! Ray

Ok....I apologize for dragging this out, but one of the turkey pics was taken early in the morning and the other around mid-day. The clues are there.......

That deer has a force-field........or is that a cloaking device activating?
