longbeardbuster....how big a part did the scouting camera play in eventually getting that buck? Would you have had a shot at it anyway or possibly hunted somewhere else?

In reply to "rtread", I owe getting this deer all to my camera. I had already given up on bowhunting anymore this past season and would not have gotten this deer if I had not gotten pictures of him. I had no idea he was even alive since it was on my uncles 190 acres that he and my cousin deer hunt and I rarely ever deer hunt there so I don't mess them up. And since neither my uncle or cousin turkey hunt they let my dad and I turkey hunt so I put out my cameras just trying to get some turkey pictures. When I showed the pictures to my uncle he gave me permission to hunt him and wished me luck, my uncle is a great guy. It was all due to my camera and alot of luck.
