RE: snowy day deer
Mine has excellent trigger speed under 1 second. The only problem with them is they go to sleep. By this I mean if there is no activity forI think it 3 minutes it goes to sleep once something is detected it activates itself again the next movement sets it off almost instantly. It is supposed to be a battery saving feature. I'm very happly with it I didn't want to spend $400 either. For the money I think there hard to beat.

Awesome, thanks. I always wanted a trail camera and when I looked at them it seemed like Moultrie would be the one I would go with.

RE: snowy day deer
Nice pics. I too have a moultrie camera and it takes really nice pics for the price. Why spend $400 on something that you are going to leave out in the woods and take a chance at it getting stolen. I would rather have a $150 camera stolen than a $400 camera stolen...
