how do you keep from reseting the picture count. this makes a problem when i try to put the pics on my computer in the same file. i end up having to rename all the pictures. just thought i'd ask.

I have the same problem..The only way i have found is to leave the last picture on the memory card, and the new pictures will start from there.

What I would do (and this is just because I am an organized freak) and I help my father-in-law who isn't tech savvy do, is each time we pull the memory card and dump the pics onto the computer, I make a new subfolder and put the date as the name of the folder. So I have a 'Trail Cam Pics' folder and under that folder I have subfolders that are called '11-01-2006' and '11-10-2006', etc and I put all the pics for that date in that folder. Of course there are multiple date stamps on the pics, so I name the folder based on the date of when I pull the card. Then you don't have to worry about pics with the same name. You could even do this with multiple cameras by creating different subfolders appropriately. Hope this helps.
