Distance Question

I have use my Stelath Cam for over a year now with good results. I was wondering how close I can put it to a tree. I put it on a scarpe but the only tree is about 6 feet from the scrape. Is this to close?

RE: Distance Question

I know that I've put my Cuddeback that close and it was fine....I'm sure it will be fine with your stealth cam too.

RE: Distance Question

Six foot is the maximum distance that I put my camera from whatever I want a picture of.

RE: Distance Question

6 feet should be alright, i usually try to not put it any closer than that, but trees dont always grow in the most convenient places. i usually set mine up about 6-15 feet away, but id say 6 feet away is better than not having it up at all

Check out the camera mount from www.bigracktrophyproducts.com

All you need is a 3/8" electric fence post and you can put your camera anywhere!

RE: Distance Question

Six feet is about right.
A 3/8 fence post seems awfully easy for someone to pull out of the ground and walk away with.
