Solar panel

I just bought the Moultrie 6 volt solar panel (p/n:MFH-SP6) for my Moultrie DGS-200 trail cam. It came with mounting bracket that, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to use. Does anyone else have this solar panel? I am pretty good at working with my hands but this has me perplexed.

Thanks,

efbman

RE: Solar panel

you must have a rechargerable battery 1st
then hook the gator chips to battery connection (post)
good luck

You don't mount it to the camera. You strap it to the tree. That way you can face the charger into the East or West and get a good charge.

RE: Solar panel

I have one ofthose solar chargers the mounting screws that came with the bracket probably don't fit. I had to rig mine but it does seem to charge the battery well. My cam has been out for 2 months now and still has 95% battery life and it has taken over 100 pics
