I finally saw this deer on hoof yesterday evening. He came into a cut bean field after I rattled and grunted a few times. Unfortunately he didn't present a shot. Going back tonite to try my luck. These pics don't do him justice. this deer is a freak.

Have you been happy with this camera? I am thinking about getting the 3.0 stealth cam and just wanted to hear your feedback...

Yep so far I have liked it. Its a little slow on reaction time. But it for the money it does very well and takes pretty good pics. It also has a good battery life.

Well guys a buddy of mine that comes up from florida every year got a 4 yard shot at him and made it count yesterday. Here are some pics. The deer is so much bigger than the game cam made him look. Looks like he has been fighting a little. I think I will have to disagree with you guys that said he had bad genetics.

Yeah rawhide we are pretty sure he was 4.5 maybe 3.5 but we are leaning more toward 4.5. The only thing that leads us to believe he may be 3.5 is body size. Around here a 4.5 year old buck is usually a little larger body wise than he was.
