What size is your XR Ron?
I'm real close to buying a new 650 and as long as there are no financial surprises in the next few months I'll probably have it by the time the weather breaks.
I've had a 200 and a 250. Love the old XRs.
Want to get one street legal that I can play around on the trails some too. My street bike is kinda big for putting around town. So the 650l is about perfect for what I need. Road legal but plenty of trail capability too.

My bike is an XR250L It is a 91 so it is kick start only. It is a great bike I just wish it had a happy button. I have owned it for MANY years but I am not the only owner. It has been a good bike. I kind of want a CRF250L. I looked at the XR650 but I am not tall enough to touch the ground.

I had an 01 xr 200. And then an early 90s 250.
The 250 was a much bigger bike, the 200 was more of a learners bike.
Then I went over to 2 strokes including some big 500s. But I'm done going fast now. Just want to be able to hit the trails and enjoy myself.
I fit the 650.... They call it the big red pig for a reason though. It is tall and heavy. But I think it'll fit my needs well.
Thanks for sharing the photos, love to see stuff like that.
