Get a patriot .45 cheap off gun broker in nice shape shot it last week at the black powder shoot shot good .i was high most shots lol found out my hunting powder measure don't go to 25 grains lol

Tonight
 
Going again tonight my club is having a 75 foot indoor bp shoot every weds this month so far I've had to sand down a 50 cal jag and I have to come up with something to regulate my powder charge pistol is 10 yards last week I read charge is 20-35 grains with a .440 ball for the patriot mine's a cap gun a woman there had a flintlock patriot last week

Ed, are you sure hers was a TC Patriot?... I don't believe TC ever made a Patriot in flint. My Blue Book of BP Values states that the Patriot was made in .36 and .45 percussion and discontinued in 1987. No mention of ever being made in flintlock. Maybe it was a custom build?

Traditions builds a flintlock pistol that looks very similar to a Patriot.

I’ve shot it 4 times now and have learned how to hold it i’ve Found that I have to kinda hold it one handed and just touch the Gun with my left hand if I hold it like a 1911 or revolver with more of a 2 hand brace hold it shoots high right
