Well, I guess you fellows that shoot factory made guns might do that, don't know, never owned a factory made flinter...See, I knew even when I was 16 or so that they weren't what I wanted, figured if a fellow was going to shoot a flinter, shoot something that resembled what they had back then... ;)

I'd like to find one with a hooked breech, but if not it's ok. AS FOR reenactments I want to portray just an everyday mountain man.

Thompson center 56 smoothbore
 
tHompson center made the renagade in 56 smoothbore great shooting gun if you look around they pop up for sale I use .550 round ball tight fit but shoot great
