I picked up some new bullets
 

I was in Sandpoint and I decided to pick up some bullets from Buffalo arms. I picked up some .451 550 grain paper patch bullets for my .458 renegade. I also picked up some 400 gr .442 for my Hawken. In the picture is my 409 gr RCBS 11mm rifle bullet on the left. The 550 gr is on the right. The quality control on these bullets is off the chart.

It will be interesting to see how that huge piece of lead shoots. Keep us posted.

How's the brinell on them Ron? Is it pretty close to your home cast bullets?

My goodness Ron. A 550 grain .451" bullet! I didn't know there were any rogue elephants or T-rexs running around in your neck of the woods/prairie!!.
That's a heck of a hunk of lead which I assume is punishing at both ends of the rifle.
