Yee-ha!!!
The cataract surgery on my right (shooting) eye was Wednesday morning. It went just as well as with the left eye last month. Results of the post-op check up yesterday were "crystal clear with 20/20 vision", though I will need reading glasses for close up work.
I just stepped out of the house with my Great Plains flinter with the Lyman 57SML sight. Tried both the .040 Target Disc and the .093 Hunting Disc. Front sight is clear and sharp with both. Took sight pictures with both discs at different distances on a few spots around the neighborhood with a big smile on my face. I'll no longer have any problem with 6 o'clock holds on 3" target bulls at 100 yards.
