O.T.: What is it?

I don't have a clue. But I got these 2 pics on my trail cam when I picked it up this morning. Initially I though the one was an eyeball looking into the lens but turns out its just a reflection of the sens itself. The second one....hmmmmm.
Now bear in mind this camera is 7' off the ground and angled slightly down. My guess it's either a woodpecker or some kind of bird but or, more likely, a squirrel that happened to go past thinking the cam was part of the tree.

I don't believe there is enough definition to tell what the picture is. About all you can do is guess what it might be. I suspect squirrel is you best guess.

sometimes the animals hear the click of the camera when it takes a pic and come circling around to sniff it. Its really hard to say what it is but the left side looks like a mouth/nose with whiskers.

I normally get hairy necks or ears when they come by my camera that close.

MD - I may have agreed with you because I've had bear and deer do that to me. But in this case the camera was 7+ feet high. So IMO it's either sasquatch or a squirrel. (Or it could possibly be a bird)

Bronko...

Here's my $.02... from the looks of that broad patch of white above the animal's eye, I would say it's a Skunk!!

Never seen a skunk climb a tree before. Especially not 7 foot.

I thought that was an eye at first too Barry but if you look at both pics it is actually a reflection of the lens. Not as evident but still present in the second pic and in the same spot.

I guess you're right Clem... when I looked again it really doesn't appear to be an animals eye. I overlooked the part in your OP that mention's the camera being mounted 7' off the ground so I also doubt it was a Skunk as I had mentioned in my post.

Very tiny flying saucer. No reason space aliens must be large.

You're right Semi... remember that old Twilight Zone episode about the U.S. spaceship that landed in the attic of an old lady's house?
